Boston, March 20, 2006—Shawmut Design and Construction is proud to announce that it was recently named “Project Development Partner of the Year” by Hard Rock International during an awards ceremony at Hard Rock’s Annual Worldwide Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. The Leadership Conference Awards recognize significant employees, franchisees and partners for enhancing the Hard Rock experience and displaying dedication and commitment to the Hard Rock brand.
Shawmut received the “Project Development Partner of the Year” award for the company’s outstanding work on Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square, a 36,000-square-foot dining and entertainment destination in the historic Paramount Theater. The Times Square project marks the 11th Hard Rock location that Shawmut has developed during its 10-year relationship with the brand.
