Under Les' leadership, Shawmut is experiencing momentous growth. From 2022 to 2023 the company increased revenue by 35%—propelling the company to $1.6 billion. This is a result of an aggressive growth plan that Les put into place, which focuses on increasing market share of large-scale projects with substantial scope and complexity with an emphasis on New York. Shawmut was awarded its biggest project to-date and expanded expertise in commercial, life sciences, education, cultural, and healthcare. Notable projects include 425 Park Ave, St. John’s University, Taconic Partners’ life sciences hub, and New York Public Library Aguilar Branch.
To support and strengthen the construction industry and New York communities, Les is a member of Partnership for New York City, board member of Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT), and a volunteer for Rebuilding Together, among many others.
