Senior project manager Julian Campanella was named to New York Real Estate Journal’s 2024 Ones to Watch Rising Stars, recognized as an individual making notable contributions in the New York Metro region. Read Julian’s Q&A below and in New York Real Estate Journal for insights into his leadership in our growing sports venues sector, how he finds work-life balance, and who he contributes to his success.
Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? My family has shaped my career. Coming from a long line of builders, I worked for my family’s construction business from an early age. They’ve taught me valuable lessons that I still use today. Making my mark on the city my family helped build motivates me to carry on tradition.
How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? It’s definitely a challenge to have work-life balance in this industry. I prioritize efficiency at work to allow personal time with family and friends. For instance, prioritizing human interaction, such as phone calls and meetings, can be more efficient than relying solely on emails and technology.
“Julian has established himself as a leader in our growing sports venues sector, tactfully managing fast-paced, off-season renovations throughout New York’s major venues including Madison Square Garden and Citi Field.
