This new four-story facility is a state-of-the-art hub for interdisciplinary learning, research, and innovation, housing the Becker School of Design & Technology, renowned for Princeton Review’s number two world-ranked Game Design program. Designed with a new academic quadrangle, the building features two wings and adds green space to the campus. Floor-to-ceiling windows echo the pixelization and binary structure of digital design. Key features include a multimedia gallery, AR/VR lab, video game library, makerspace, incubator, robotics lab, and data science lab. Notably, it is the university’s first building to utilize geothermal energy for heating and cooling and is pursuing LEED® Gold certification.
