For Grupo Hunan’s first U.S. project, they entrusted Shawmut to bring their concept to life at Los Angeles’s famed The Grove. The two-story restaurant features a ground-level marketplace and casual dining, fine dining on the second floor, and 20 different types of handmade tiles from Mexico throughout. The Grove remained fully occupied and operational during Alma’s construction, and the Shawmut team seamlessly worked to mitigate disturbances.
This tenant improvement project in to a two-story building in Hollywood created a double-height space for creative offices. The project included significant parking improvements, hardscaping and landscaping, and the creation of ADA compliant restrooms.
