The multi-phase, multi-million dollar renovation of the existing 73-room boutique hotel to create the brand-new Nobu Hotel Palo Alto included a new facade, lobby, kitchen, Nobu dining spaces, common areas, guest rooms, and exclusive Nobu Ryokan guest experience. High-end finishes in the Ryokan suites include white oak paneling, teak accents, and natural crema marfil marble stone. The complete scope of work included demolition, concrete, modifications to existing post-tension slabs, millwork, drywall, stone, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting installation. The restaurant and kitchen construction were performed and completed successfully while keeping the kitchen operational for room service throughout the renovation. The hotel remained fully operational allowing for room sales while the renovation was in progress.
