The St. Vincent Health Sciences Center at St. John’s University is a 70,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to support the university’s expanding health sciences programs. The building features advanced wet and dry labs, mock hospital rooms, immersive patient simulation spaces, and classrooms, providing students with real-world training experiences. A centerpiece of the design is the Dorethea and Nickolas Davatzes Atrium, a vibrant social hub that fosters collaboration and interaction among students and faculty. The center houses the university’s Nursing, Radiologic Sciences, and Physician Assistant programs, reinforcing St. John’s commitment to leading healthcare education in the New York metropolitan area.
The building emphasizes sustainability with rooftop solar panels, bird-safe glass windows, and a geothermal field with 66 wells, enhancing its energy efficiency.
