The renovation and expansion of the Peter Marshall French Student Center modernized the 40-year-old facility, introducing a range of innovative amenities designed to enhance the student experience. Key additions include flexible learning and gathering spaces, a café and grill, a wellness studio, day student locker rooms, and new humanities classrooms. The transformation aimed to create a vibrant hub for campus life, facilitating a variety of activities such as afternoon and weekend programming, club meetings, and social events.

Significant upgrades included enclosing an existing courtyard with a new steel structure to create a refreshed dining area featuring an all-glass skylight. This renovation improved accessibility and added a large outdoor terrace on the building’s northern side. The terrace serves as a three-season gathering space for students and can also be utilized as an outdoor classroom for faculty. These enhancements ensure that the Student Center supports both social and educational functions, fostering a dynamic and interactive campus environment.
