The Hildreth Elementary School project for the Town of Harvard features a new, state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate 445 students in grades Pre-K through 5. The 25-core-classroom building includes a media center, STEM center, cafeteria, gymnasium, art room, and administrative offices, all arranged around an open-style lobby.
Constructed adjacent to the existing school, which remained operational during construction, the project was completed in two phases. The initial phase involved building the new school, while the second phase focused on demolishing the old structure and developing the site with outdoor play areas, including two playgrounds, a sports field, and new parking and roadways. The project achieved LEED® v4 BD+C: Schools Silver certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainable design and energy efficiency.
