First Construction JobI built an awesome lantern in shop class when I was in the eighth grade. Four wood pillars, metal lattice panels that fit perfectly into circular grooves—it’s a thing of beauty! And it’s still displayed with great pride on my parents’ mantle.

Beyond Shawmut Most of my spare time is spent fishing on Ninigret Pond in Rhode Island with my partner and son.
