Noteworthy:This project is a new upper elementary school that serves 985 students in grades 3-5. The 20-acre site was occupied by the existing Woodland School, which remained in full operation throughout construction. The final phase of the project entailed demolition of the older Woodland School building, as well as landscaping and sitework. Shawmut employed all proven approaches to ensure student safety, phasing, and logistics, and to minimize construction impacts.
