Noteworthy: For this project, Shawmut entered into a partnership with the Springfield office of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This partnership allowed Shawmut to facilitate OSHA’s construction safety courses and equipment training with employees and subcontractors working on the construction of the new high school, ensuring continued safe practices on the job site.
