Noteworthy: Historic renovation to convert the historic Crest Theatre, first opened in 1940, into the Nimoy Theater for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The project will convert the 440-seat movie house into a 299-seat live production theater, creating a welcoming, informal atmosphere for audiences and artists, as well as an expanded lobby and updated bar for socializing and events.
