Noteworthy: At George Washington University, Populous and Shawmut once again combined forces in Designer-Led Design-Build delivery method to reap the benefits of rapid, upfront, and early planning for long-lead items, early release packages, and optimal systems selection. This fit-out renovation spanned four student entries, a “Tin Tabernacle Club” area, a “Concession” area, an “All Sports Corridor” area, and some work in the seating area of an existing GWU Basketball Court.
