Originally built in 1977, the project consisted of an expansion north of the existing facility to unite all of the recreational services and create one entry to the complex. In addition, the lobby was reconstructed and a two-story expansion added to include lounge, fitness, and multi-purpose spaces.
An indoor running track was added to the field house and the pool locker rooms and administrative spaces were renovated. Additionally, the field house flooring surface was replaced, and lighting and acoustical improvements were made.
